It is both a comfort and misfortune that time blurs everything. Six years ago at this time I started this little space which I regrettably neglect, in an attempt to cement fleeting moments. After traveling to Paris in August, the most valuable memory was visiting the Villa Savoye; more important to me than entering the Sainte-Chapelle & Palais Royal. I can still smell the dry grass that surrounds it, I put those weeks behind me for the better. I thought I knew monotony (primary school) until I surrendered my time for tedious labor in the months following. I put that behind me now, too. Another holiday approaches that will take me to snowy parts and an island off the North Atlantic, perhaps I'll repeat it over for amusement.

In a few days I'll be in paris and barcelona for several weeks, it'll be my first time traveling without a companion. I hope to eat a madeleine each day and drown in cafe creme. I've never been to Spain but I presume it will test the spanish I grew up with which completely lacks grammar

I've wondered how the unexplainable can transcend to another but it seldom does. There's something frustrating about it while being simultaneously pleasing. I often it find it difficult to discuss personal details, I feel as though I'm reducing myself to something far too succinct.

Learning by example, following the will for silence. Recalling when sound departed from lips without strain attached. Taking leaps forward while getting closer to less. Wanting it this way, while others fill their faces full of worry. Repetition allowing for clearer thought. Aligning myself to something I will only experience once. it was the first time i wore thermals since i was 6, they feel like pajamas and inevitably poke from the corners of my clothes

I finally managed to gather images from the last two places I visited. Incredibly far apart made simpler by overnight trains. After being unhappy in Copenhagen I chose to spend my remaining time in Malmö. Like the expression, it was love at first sight. I went to Folkets park & then ate amongst the good-looking swedes at debaser

the best part was the apartment we stayed in. limited to five italian channels mostly daytime dramas, we also made a lot of food we'd never eat at home

went to europa to see radiohead & somehow didn't have tickets for the los angeles shows. patience & good fortune changed that eventually. at seven years old i hid posters covered with lipstick of leo dicaprio behind my door. i'm older now and those things are silly. he was behind me a few rows and the seven year-old in me was...it paled in comparison to that show in paris when everyone was nice and i was too shy to speak english

when i was there i sat on my bed at 10 pm looked out the window and watched the shadow-less cement as the sun was still out

i stayed in nørrebro; some natives recommended places to visit but all i came across were beautiful women riding bikes worth
3000dkk on empty streets. money was never problematic until copenhagen, paying for simple things carried a heavy weight

of course we went to tivoli. we all rode the himmelskibet which is a beastly spinning swing thats 80 metres high. i'll never be more frightened

the weather changes its mind all the time

a few days later we finally had time to see the danish countryside, this was probably 8pm

i did a lot more here that i'm neglecting to mention. as for photographing live shows i will probably take a break in a few months time after my bloody
valentine. i'm moving away from the city center & things get so lame sometimes on behalf of venues & publications. this was the other day at ariel pink

a moment i wont soon forget was on the train through bavaria.i saw a limitless fog swallowing towns, and a castle on the mountaintop next to the moon. in koln i could not decipher the metro board and rode a boat up the rhine. munchen gave me good kaffee in lovely cups & a random vagrant with intense eyes recited a curse on me
